Livelihoods
CEI Charity Uganda exists to improve the livelihood of women through support to women groups especially in the area of formalising their activities. Its a known fact that many women self-help groups exist in Mityana and Uganda at large but most of them carry out their activities in an informal way. That is where we come in.
Not only do we help them formalize their activities but we also help them by mobilizing them to engage in networks and partnerships. No need to emphasize that when people work together, they achhive much more than they would achieve when they are isolated.
We also train them in savings and credits, water, hygiene and sanitation, environment sustainability and agriculture. We believe that this helps in improving their livelihoods
Cei Charity Uganda advocates for food security. Many people families in Uganda can not afford all meals a human being needs in a day. Some poor families can only afford a meal in a day or even none at all.
Cei Charity Uganda is there to educate people on how to have enough food in their families. This we do by advising people to plan for their families so as to be in position to handle them.
Under operation since 2004, at CEI charity Uganda, we advocate for human rights, offer sponsorships/ Bursary programs to health workers in collaboration with partners, curative, preventive, health talks, medical tours and we exist to improve the livelihood of people in the communities of Mityana and Kampala.
